Air Bed Fridays have become quite the tradition in our house.
On Friday, after dinner, while I'm wrestling two boys in the bathtub armed with a washcloth and a couple of rubber duckies, Daddy is in the living room laying out a cheap airbed. And when the pump turns on and whirs loudly down the hall, two little faces light up with anticipation.
It is so simple. We bought the airbed for when we're traveling or camping or when the hubby can't take the snoring anymore. (Yes, I snore.) But one Friday, he decided to get it out with the idea that he and Laithan would curl up and watch a movie and fall asleep. Well, it worked out a bit differently. Laithan wasn't interested in TV and Daddy wasn't interested in being a human trampoline.
Instead its become a playground and they love it. Lachlan climbs from the bed to the couch and back again over and over. Or giggles at Laithan's crazy flipping and jumping.
No one has done any actually sleeping on the air bed, but it was worth every cent.
